HOW TO APPLY FOR PORTUGUESE CITIZENSHIP
The requirement is to be married to a Portuguese national for at least 3 years.

– Have your signature recognised (this can be done at an Embassy of Portugal abroad, and in Portugal through a lawyer)
– Pay 250 EUR crcpagamentos.irn.mj.pt/pagvisamc.aspx?productid=NAC3
– Enclose the following documents:
Birth Certificate (European format if possible)
Criminal Records (from country of nationality, country where you are currently living, country of birth if different than the others)
Copy of marriage certificate
It takes approximately 1 ½ to 2 years to get the citizenship.
